九つの夕暮れ (Kokonotsu no Yugure) is a spatial sound and visual installation exhibited at WPU Shinjuku, Tokyo, May 30th, 2026. We transformed a hotel room into a daydream space — somewhere to rest, to drift, to feel a collage of memory belongs to someone else. Through moments once lived by others, we rediscover the shape of our own.
The installation is a recorded passage of the slow life of living things, of moments in passing, of people we love — a drifting between remembering and forgetting. We let it return nine times across the afternoon and into the evening. Each return is slightly less of itself: the image softens, the sound thins, glitches the surface where smoothness used to be. By the ninth dusk, the memory is barely a trace, only the feelings linger.
